Why the Hebrew Names Version (HNV) is used on this website. The HNV may be used online and is available to be freely downloaded in a variety of formats. The HNV does not have any copyrights to limit or constrain how it is used or disseminated. The HNV uses the name "Yeshua" in the new testament for the name of the Messiah/Christ. Even so our family awaits patiently for the messiah to come and reveal his new name that no one knows but he himself. God is who he is, Exodus 3:14 God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM,”. Revelation 3:12 He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God, and he will go out from there no more. I will write on him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from my God, and my own new name. Revelation 19:12 His eyes are a flame of fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has names written and a name written which no one knows but he himself. Revelation 14:1 I saw, and behold, the Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with him a number, one hundred forty-four thousand, having his name, and the name of his Father, written on their foreheads. Revelation 22:4 They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. It is disappointing though, like with many of other bibles that have crosses displayed on them, the print copy of the HNV displays the hexagram (six pointed star). The hexagram is another form of the mark of the beast. Even though this is the case the truth still shines through. The Lord's children will have an understanding of this deception and still see their Lord's Word in any of the so called "versions" of the scriptures. Regardless of the language the bottom line is this; knowledge, wisdom, and understanding comes from the Lord who is the creator of all things. His children will overcome because their Lord overcame. The attempt to incorporate a Hebrew ambiance in the HNV makes for an interesting and informative read. A bound, printed copy of the HNV is also available for purchase from other unaffiliated sources. You may have a bible that you have a preference to use. Please use it to examine the scriptures that are referenced in this site. As it is written in 1 Thessalonians 5:21 Test all things, and hold firmly that which is good.
